F.A.Q.
When choosing your wardrobe for a photo session, keep these tips in mind:
Location and Vibe: Let the setting, season, and desired mood guide your choices.
Comfort: Select comfortable clothing that represents your personal style.
Colors: Choose solid colors that flatter your skin tone, as color is a powerful element in photography.
Groups: Coordinate, don't match. Outfits should complement one another to create a cohesive image.
Patterns: Avoid busy patterns, which can be distracting and unflattering.
To produce the best and most natural results, I prefer to photograph clients on location, whether it's in their home or a favorite outdoor spot. I can bring my portable studio directly to you, creating a professional studio experience with just a 10-foot square of space.
Each session requires a different amount of time in which I normally allocate 20 minutes up to 1 hour. I apprroach all sessions with patience and flexibility, especially with families. I am not here to create perfect portraits, but to document the beautiful, real moments that unfold when my clients are free to be themselves.
Absolutely! It’s totally normal to feel a bit uneasy in front of the camera—most people do. I’ll guide you with simple prompts and gentle direction to help you feel comfortable and confident throughout your session. Whether your photo shoot is a large family affair or an intimate session for two, I'll be there to make sure you feel at ease—and I’ll even show you a few sneak peeks as we go to reassure you of the fantastic progress we're making.
If you'd like to add a personal touch to your photos you can consider bringing along a few meaningful items. Things such as a cherished blanket, a favorite stuffed animal, a monogram wooden letter, a favorite instrument like a guitar, a special book, sports fan gear, or a bottle of champagne to pop—bring it along! Using simple items in your photos can create a sense of calm, facilitate more genuine interactions, and give your pictures a unique and personal feel.
This really depends on the type of session you book, but for a typical family and portrait session includes at least 25 final images. I believe in telling the whole story of our time together, providing you with a gallery of authentic moments and meaningful details.
Absolutely! I love photographing extended families—those multi-generational sessions are always full of connection and meaning. Whether it’s a reunion or a holiday get-together, I’ll guide everyone with care and ease to capture both the big group portraits and the candid, in-between moments that tell your family’s unique story.
After your session, I carefully select and edit your images. Portrait and family galleries are typically ready within 1–2 weeks. Your finished photos are delivered through a private online gallery where you can easily view, download, and share them at your convenience. Galleries remain available for six months, giving you plenty of time to revisit and download your memories.
As a professional photographer, to me, photography is more than just capturing how things look—it's about revealing the emotion and connection behind every moment. I approach my work with both technical skill and a calm, creative energy that helps you feel at ease and present. My goal is simple: for you to fully enjoy your time with the ones you love while I thoughtfully preserve those memories through my lens.
